As an annual grand event in cement sector, the 2007 China International Cement Conference successfully took place on April 24th. in Beijing. Over 600 business leaders, experts and government delegates from nearly 300 enterprises home and abroad took part in the grand event.
There were officers from the National Development and Reform
Commission, the State Environmental Protection Administration (SEPA), the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, Counselors’ Office of the State Council, China Building Materials Federation, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, South Africa Embassy, Exane Ltd., LAFARGE (France), Holcim(Switzerland), Cemex(Mexico), HEIDELBERGCEMENT (Germany), RHI Refractories(Austria), KAWASAKI Plant Systems Ltd(Japan), Anhui CONCH Group, Zhejiang Leomax Group, SINOMA and China United Cement Co. ltd. etc.
All participated parties made full of the event: delegates held in-depth discussions on the hottest topics and problems in cement industry, such as, sustainable development, environment protection, energy efficiency, international cooperation etc. During the conference, major enterprises made keynote speeches on their valuable experience, leaders from local cement agencies expounded on China’s policies on cement development and enterprise delegates exchanged views on some practical problems.
