As a type of elementary raw material for economic development, cement has been widely used in various sectors of infrastructure development. The cement industry has contributed a lot to the social progress. China is a large cement producer and consumer in the world and boasts its self-developed new-type dry method technology of cement production.
In 2006, China’s cement output reached 1.24 billion tons, achieved profits 15.04 billion yuan, with the respectively increase of 15.7% and 92.58%. Recent years witnessed rapid economic development in China. With the development of large-scale projects spearheaded by the Three Gorges Project, the Qinghai-Tibet Railway, the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, the Shanghai World Expo and the Beijing-Shanghai Express Railway, and thanks to the support and guidance by the Chinese Government, the cement industry has maintained a booming momentum.
Given these facts, and the opportunities they represent, hosted by the CCPIT Building Material Sub Council [CCPIT BM] and China Cement Association [CCA] were held at the Beijing Exhibition Center and Beijing Friendship Hotel respectively on 24th – 26th April, 2007; for “The 8th China International Cement Industry Exhibition” and “2007’ China International Cement Conference”.
There were more than 2,000 professional visitors everyday and most of the exhibitors achieved their goals and developed business opportunities through the exhibition. Including ABB, RHI Refractories, Siemens, FAG, BEUMER Machinery, Loesche Mills, German FUCHS Group, KAWASAKI Plant Systems, SINOMA and many other industry leaders showcased their products and technologies at site of the exhibition.
The 9th China International Cement Industry Exhibition will take place in Shanghai, China, April 1-3, 2008.
